Monthly Musings
“Miracle after miracle, open door after open door. Here it comes, so get ready for another one… another one is on the way!”
That’s been my mantra all through November, and I can't help but talk about it.
I’m writing this while waiting for my flight back to Uganda after an exciting weekend in Nairobi. A month ago, I was scrolling through Instagram when I stumbled upon an announcement for a Content Creation workshop hosted by some of Kenya’s best in the field. If you know me, you know I’m always ready to seize every learning opportunity. I've long admired the creativity and expertise of Kenyan content creators, so I decided to take a chance on myself—hoping to learn, network, and build relationships with them.
And I’m so glad I did.
The workshop was worth it and it exceeded my expectations in every way. From learning how to value and price my work, to strategies for building an online community and enhancing video quality, I’m truly grateful for the investment I made. I hope you’ll begin to see the difference in the content I create! (Check out some of the videos I created in Kenya here: My Trip to Kenya
Now, while I started with the most recent event, let’s take a moment to reflect on how November has unfolded. I can confidently say it’s been one of the best months of the year—if not the best.
1. YouTube Overhaul
As some of you might have noticed, I've had to make a few changes to my YouTube team over the past few months. If you've seen a drop in video quality recently, I want to sincerely apologize. That was never the standard I aim for, and I value you, my audience, too much to let anything less than my best go out.
But here’s the good news: God has been faithful, and I had the best shoot day in a long time for my final videos of the year. I’m thrilled to say I’ve finally found the right team to take my brand to the next level. Stay tuned—exciting things are on the way!
2. Working on My Smile
If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that I’m currently on the Invisalign journey. One of my biggest insecurities has always been my teeth, and being in front of the camera often magnifies that. So, I decided to take the plunge and start wearing clear teeth aligners.
It’s been a month now, and I still have 223 days to go before I get my perfect smile. But let me tell you—this journey is not for the faint of heart! I have to wear them for 18-21 hours a day, which means fewer snacks, quicker meals, and more complicated dental care. But I’m determined to stick with it!
Follow my journey on Instagram, and a huge thank you to Code Clinic for supporting me through this process. (Check out the start of my treatment here: Invisalign start journey.
3. Raising the Kids
I’ve received so many heartwarming comments about the kids this month.
There’s nothing more fulfilling than seeing the fruits of your parenting reflected in the eyes of others. It reminds me of the verse from Malachi 2:15, which says:
“Has not the one God made you? You belong to him in body and spirit. And what does the one God seek? Godly offspring.”
Steve and I are committed to raising godly children, and we feel incredibly blessed to be entrusted with this responsibility.

4.Brand Deals
As the year wraps up, it's prime time for influencers, and I’m thrilled to share that my hard work is finally getting the recognition it deserves from global brands. Almost every week this November, I’ve received emails and calls from brands interested in working with me. Some have already signed me on!
It’s a humbling reminder of Proverbs 22:29 (NKJV):
“Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men.”
As I continue to create, post, and engage, I’d love for you to support the branded content by liking, commenting, and sharing. Your support means the world, and together, we can grow even more in this next season. Let’s not just be silent followers—let’s be active participants! Who’s with me?
Happy December!
Get ready—another miracle is on the way!
